I wonder if it does that every time?

Matthew “Matt” Shepard, Engineer, Colonist/War Hero, paragon. Owner of the perpetually calm and understanding voice, and also the recipient of many an awkward come on. He made it through the Blitz by making sure that everything and everyone was in tip top shape, and somehow won a pretty big honor in the process.

He suffers from quite a few bouts of insomnia (either from Mindoir, the Prothean beacon, or from the initial Collector attack), so he’s constantly in need of sleep or caffeine. I’m sure that during many of these nights when he’s not thinking of something useful, he’s thinking of things he can tinker with endlessly, like…the Mako. Or the Hammerhead. Or both. It’s become quite the head-scratcher.
